Answers to Common Questions
A Nexus letter is a medical expert opinion letter that creates a “nexus” between a VA-approved service-connected diagnosis, duties you performed in the military, locations you were deployed to, or toxic exposures you may have had in the military to a new or non-VA-approved diagnosis.
A well-crafted Nexus letter offers a medical expert opinion supported by scientific research to increase the likelihood the VA will choose to approve your claim.
Not all companies providing Nexus letters will use scientific research in their letters to help strengthen their medical opinions. Additionally, we charge much less than the going prices for Nexus letters because we are a Veteran-owned business that genuinely wants to help you get the disability ratings you deserve.
Some PCMs and specialty providers write Nexus letters. Still, they often lack the specific language the VA requires and don't have time to research your medical records or supporting literature. Additionally, they may not have military experience to know what you did in your military career might also support a nexus to your medical diagnosis.
A free 10-minute consultation with our experts will allow us to review your VA-approved service-connected diagnoses and any non-VA-approved diagnoses to see if there are any possible nexus connections.
