Testimonials

Highly Favorable Review for Stevel Nexus Consulting**

I am compelled to share my outstanding experience with Stevel Nexus Consulting and, specifically, with Dr. Vela. A fellow veteran recommended his services to me approximately a year ago, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my VA claims process.

From my initial consultation with Dr. Vela, I felt heard and understood. His attentiveness to my concerns was both impressive and reassuring. Unlike many professionals who might rush through a consultation, Dr. Vela took the time to thoroughly address each of my questions, providing clear explanations and valuable insights. His detailed approach made me feel supported and confident in navigating the often complex world of VA claims.

"Dr. Vela,

I have referred several Navy Reservists to you over the past 6 months.

I hope your military retirement and nexus letter business are going well.

The last 2 letters you wrote for me put me over the top. Was just notified I am 100% P&T as of 2 days ago.

So that makes me a 100% satisfied customer of yours. I would be happy to do a testimonial for your business if I can help in any way.

I appreciate your help on this multi-year journey. The timing may be key with the granting of the 100% P&T benefits as I am a Federal Employee at risk of losing my job. It will make a big difference.

Thanks again."

THE RISK OF NOT USING A NEXUS LETTER

Sometimes the VA will request a Nexus Letter, but it is useful even if they do not. A Nexus Letter, which is a Medical Opinion from an expert, helps the VA understand the link (nexus) between your medical diagnosis and your military career. Without this nexus, it may be difficult for the VA to determine if your condition is service-connected. Consequently, the likelihood of your claim being denied increases without a Nexus Letter.
